Reliable & Effective Chiropractic Care

Chiropractic is a healthcare profession concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disorders of the neuromusculoskeletal (nerves, muscles and skeleton) system. It is a safe and effective type of physical medicine that is also concerned with the effects these disorders have on general health.

It is the job of muscle to stabilize joints of the body. Muscles do this by absorbing force.  Each time an action occurs force is caused to enter the body.  When force enters the body it should be absorbed by the muscle, if this occurs the joint will be stabilized.  Muscles are facilitated (turned ON) and inhibited (turned OFF) by the brain and reflexes.  When a muscle is inhibited, it is incapable of absorbing force when actions occur.  If joint and muscle are not working together properly force entering a specific area of the body will not be absorbed, instead, it will be transferred to other areas of the body, such as tendons, ligaments, discs, cartilage, meniscus, labrum, etc.  These structures are not made to absorb force.  As force enters these structures, they start to become irritated, start to break down, and eventually tear or herniate. Using individual muscle testing Dr. Schilling is able to determine if muscle is facilitated or inhibited. With this information he is able to correct the cause of muscle weakness.  Once the muscle becomes facilitated, force will begin to be absorbed properly and will not be transferred to the other structures.  At this point, the injured tissue can start to heal.  This is an excellent way to prevent injuries from occurring.

At Dynamic Chiropractic & Natural Medicine the techniques we use for Chiropractic Care are Spinal Manipulation, Soft Tissue Cross Friction, Whole Body Vibration, Myofascial Release, Frequency Specific Mircocurrent and Applied Kinesiology in order to identify our patient’s health concerns.  Using the knowledge we have gained in studying all of these areas we are able to treat conditions very comprehensively.
